Homestead
Found primarily near the Weh’Lan nation, living in round holes under hills, the Homestead halflings are humble and mild mannered compared to their other cousins. A bit more rotund than other halflings and less prone to adventure, they wile away their days eating cakes and smoking pipeweed. Still, occasionally wanderlust strikes the odd Homesteader, and off they leave the comforts of their hovels to seek grand adventure, riddling in the dark and burgling the hoards of dragons.
Epsu
Found in the larger urban areas, especially those with aqueducts, or sewer systems, the Epsu began as river folk and evolved to specialize in the building and maintenance of various irrigation systems. They all uniformly wear the same blue coveralls, and are handy with a set of tools. Some are fine mechanics. In Karfax, they have a prestigious guild that secures their rights and function as civil servants, repairing waterworks and tending to waste disposal and city dumps. Random junk in the hands of an Epsu is just a treasure waiting to fulfill its potential. They often come into conflict with Nin’ki, as they both specialize in fulfilling similar roles in society. Also, both are seen as unclean menial laborers by other racial residents of the same cities.
Gitano
Nomadic bands of Gitano halfings wander throughout Solidar Minor. Their caravans are full of music, revelry, and strange goods from far off lands. They are notorious thieves, and their arrival in a town is often met with annoyance at best. Still, they are sought out for blessings, curses, auguries, or a riotous good time. They have a particularly strong enmity against the Shivanti, and often blame those humans for their own less than flattering larcenous reputation.
Feroz
Residents of the Savage Jungle, these aboriginal halflings share many physical features and tribal customs with the Olvidar humans. They are a wild and vicious lot, and are most well known for their cannibalism.
