Balam
Jaguar catfolk native to Solidar Minor, the Balam are fierce warriors and spiritual shaman that have coexisted alongside the Olvidar for centuries. They mainly inhabit deep wilderness areas such as the Black Forest and the northern reaches of the Savage Jungle, building primitive yet intricate treetop villages. After the Solidar colonization, their domains have been shrinking and their numbers dwindling. As of late, they have come into repeated conflicts with the Cierto that share their homes, and have become more isolationist than ever. After seeing what has happened to the Olvidar nations, they trust Solidar humans very little, and are not above raiding their caravans or settlements.
Bagheera
Hailing from deep within the Savage Jungle and further south along the edges of the Sahili Empire, the panthermen and leopardmen of the Bagheera stalk the darkness of the night, as well as the Astral and Shadow planes. Solitary by nature, the Bagheera rarely form groups larger than immediate families, and do not congregate as a community except for occasional tribal moots to discuss spiritual or political conscerns. Bagheera have a long standing feud with the Raiva elves, who distrust the pantherfolk’s frequent and cavalier use of dark magics. It is rumored that the Golden Scythes of Sapphire County have a pair of deadly Bagheera shadowdancer assassins on retainer.
Khan
Proud and strong, the tigermen clans of Khan can be found near the Sahili & Seichi Kingdoms. Khan are also known to be fond of sailing, occasionally joining crews of ships bound up and down the eastern coast as far north as Sapphire County. While savage Khan barbarians are not unknown, many are honorable warriors, introspective poets, or ascetic monks.
